We do not collect, store, or share any personal or medical data from the Health Calendar app. All information entered is stored locally on your device only.

The app may request access to device features (such as notifications or calendar) strictly to enable reminders and scheduling. No third-party services are used inside the app for analytics, advertising, or data tracking.

The Health Calendar app includes an optional AI Assistant chat. It is used only when you open the chat and send a message — it is never active in the background.

When you send a message, the app transmits over HTTPS: (a) your typed message, and (b) a snapshot of the data you have tracked in the app (so the assistant can answer questions about it, e.g. 'how much water did I drink today?'). No other data is sent.

Requests are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI, via the Rork proxy) solely to generate a reply. The provider does not store your messages, does not use them to train AI models, and does not share them with third parties. We also do not log or retain these messages on our side.

Important: the AI Assistant is NOT a medical professional. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).

When you contact us through the website's feedback form, your message is sent directly to our email (healthcalendarapp@gmail.com). It is not stored in any database. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and follow up.

Our hosting provider may automatically collect basic technical data (such as IP address, page visits, device type, or country of access) for security and performance monitoring. This data is processed under our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

This website uses two categories of cookies:

1) Essential cookies — strictly necessary for the site to function (e.g. storing your cookie preference). These are set without consent under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

2) Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — set ONLY if you give explicit consent through the cookie banner. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all consent signals denied by default until you choose. IP anonymization is enabled. Cookies used: _ga (identifier, expires after 2 years), _ga_<container-id> (session state, expires after 2 years). No advertising or remarketing cookies are used.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time from the link in the footer ('Cookie Settings') — your withdrawal is as easy as your consent.

Google Analytics may process data outside the EU/EEA (United States). Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection under GDPR. We rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses as an additional safeguard.

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ('right to be forgotten'); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at healthcalendarapp@gmail.com — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You have full control over the data stored in the app. You can view, edit, or delete your information at any time directly on your device.

Sharing any content from the app that includes other people's personal or medical data without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited. If you choose to share your own data (e.g. notes, screenshots, exported PDFs), you do so at your own responsibility.

All information remains local to your device. We recommend activating available device-level security features (such as passcodes or biometric locks where supported).

This website and app are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

This Privacy Policy applies to both the Health Calendar mobile application and the official Health Calendar website.

Health Calendar provides notifications and reminders for convenience, but we cannot guarantee their delivery in all circumstances, as this may depend on device settings, operating system restrictions, or user actions. Users remain fully responsible for managing their own healthcare routines.

Some digital products available on this website (such as printable books or educational materials) may be sold through a third-party platform. Payments and order processing for these products are handled by Gumroad. Health Calendar does not collect, store, or process payment details. Personal information related to the transaction is handled according to Gumroad's own Privacy Policy. We encourage users to review the privacy policy and terms of the payment provider before completing a purchase.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
